Shir Tikvah
Elects Board

Congregation Shir Tikvah
in Troy has elected a new
board of trustees. The newly-
elected president is Ed
Witkow. The two vice
-presidents are Sandy Green
and Rich Spitzer. Serving as
treasurer is Mark Hubscher.
Sandy Walker and Claire Gal-
ed are secretaries. Board of
trustee members are Carolyn
Davidson, David Fiedler,
Mort Racklin, Cindy Silver-
man, Dick Sweet, and Nick
Vitale. The sisterhood
representative is Judy
Paratore.
The new board will be in-
stalled at Saturday services
10 a.m. Sept. 19 at Nor-
thminster Church, 3633 W.
Big Beaver Road, Troy.

Selichot Workshop
Set On Atonement

The Adult Education Com-
mittee of Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses will sponsor a
Selichot Workshop 9 p.m.
Sept. 19 at the synagogue.
Rabbi Bergman will lead a
workshop on "Atonement."
Selichot services will follow
at 11 p.m. There is no charge;
•efreshments will be served.

Hosts Party

Emanu-El,

"Friends From Emanu-El,"
Temple Emanu-El's group for
unmarried Jews between
