Autumnfest

The City of Southfield's
Department of Parks and
Recreation, Cultural Arts
Division, will present its
fourth Autumnfest 9 a.m.-5
p.m. Sept. 13 at the Mary
Thompson Farm, 25630
Evergreen, just south of Civic
Center Drive. Admission and
parking are free.
Autumnfest will open with
a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m.
Hot and cold foods will be
available along with fresh
fruits and vegetables sold by
the Mary Thompson senior
gardeners and other vendors.
Fresh honey will also he for
sale.
Free entertainment, 1:30-5
p.m. on the outdoor Showmo-
bile, will include country dan-
cing and the sounds of the
Scandinavian Symphony
Brass Ensemble, the Madri-
gal Chorale and the South-
field Symphony Quartet.
Numerous arts and crafts
will be exhibited and for sale
under several large tents.
