At the dinner, which also will celebrate the 25th an- niversary of the reunification of Jerusalem, Ms. Brant and Ms. Brown will each receive the "Jerusalem City of Peace" award for their dedication to the synagogue, the communi- ty and the State of Israel. Ms. Brant has served on the synagogue's executive board of directors and completed three terms as sisterhood president. Hearing Loss Groups At JCC The Jewish Community Center offers day and evening meetings of its Hearing Loss Support Group. This group is open to the public with a charge for non-members of the Center. Meetings at the Jimmy Prentis Morris building will be 10 a.m. Sept. 11 and 25. The Sept. 11 topic will focus on the use of the Text Telephone and Michigan Relay System, as well as a discussion of Self-Help for Hard of Hearing People, Inc. On Sept. 25, a demonstration and discussion of new hearing aids will take place. At the Maple-Drake building 1:30 p.m. Sept. 21, the group will discuss ways to cope with specific common situations, such restaurants and family' gatherings.
