F

ashion designer
Nicole Miller made a
personal appearance at
Hannah Rose in the Bloom-
field Plaza last week. In
women's apparel, Ms. Miller
is known for her little black
dress, which is always sexy
and stylish. In the men's
department, her whimsical
ties and braces are popular.
The themes are varied and
fun with designs from Wall
Street to Broadway.
"We turn every joke into a
money making idea," said
Ms. Miller, who was wearing
a long black dress, western
jewelry and shoes with a
Nicole Miller pattern.
Shoe designer Stuart
Weitzman manufactures
the shoes with the Nicole
Miller signature.
Her fall collection filled an
entire wall at Hannah Rose.
Besides traditional suiting,
Ms. Miller designed a red
and black plaid suit with a
leopard collar. Her signature
black dresses ranged from
velvet to crepe, long and
short. The funky prints were
on the lingerie collection as
well as on scarves and ties.
"We are always experi-
menting with new combina-
tions," said Ms. Miller.

VOGUESTYLE 92
Jacobson's recently pre-
sented "Voguestyle '92" to
benefit the Juvenile
Diabetes Foundation. The
evening featured culinary
delights from local restau-
rants and a fashion show.
Lisa Marks The Jewish
News reported that sleek,
black fashions are strong.
Another hot color is red,
whether it's bold or subdued.
Topping off all the fall fash-

ions were hats — berets,
western and bowlers.
Juvenile Diabetes com-
mittee members included:
Annette Kolon, Karen
Lutz, Margo Salyer, Pam
Rock and Helen Wachter.
