She will deliver the annual Wallenberg Lecture titled, "South Africa in Tran- sition: Past and Present In- fluences," 8 p.m. Sept. 16 in the Rackham Auditorium. Throughout her 36 years in Parliament, Ms. Suzman worked consistently to in- stigate change in South Africa's apartheid system. University President James Duderstadt will present the Wallenberg medal which was o established in 1989 in honor of University alumnus Raoul Wallenberg (Architecture '35) who saved the lives of many ' 2 thousands of Hungarian Jews at the end of World War II.
