HEALTHY FEET HINTS:

Hammer toes are claw-like toes that
resemble the head of a hammer. This
condition affects the second, and
sometimes the third, toes. The af-
fected toes are permenently bent and
can become quite painful because
the tops rub against the shoe. Shoes
with a deep toe box and soft leather
help to make hammer-toed feet more
comfortable.
