The pro- gram is for contributors of $5,000 or more to the 1993 Campaign and is sponsored by the Jewish Federation Women's Division Ruby and Lion of Judah sections. Former chief of the CBS Moscow Bureau, Mr. Evans has worked on both sides of the former Iron Curtain and in the People's Republic of China. He has covered the Middle East during war and peace conferences, meeting with Egypt's President An- war Sadat, Jordan's King Hussein, the Shah of Iran and every Israeli prime minister since Golda Meir. Carolyn Greenberg is chair- man of the Ruby Section Steering Committee and Julie Levy is associate chair- man. Vice chairmen are Nan- cy Grosfeld, Reva Kogan, Lauren Liss, Barbara Nusbaum and Helen Zuckerman. Volunteers Set Training Sessions Allied Jewish Campaign volunteers in the Women's Division and the Business and Professional Women's Division of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit are invited to their sectional training/assignment sessions in September and October at the Max M. Fisher Building. The Women's Division Pre- Campaign Section worker training sessions will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sept. 3 and 9, and the Koach and Kadima combined sections will be 9:15 a.m.-noon, Sept. 21, 22 or 30. The B & P Ruach and Hatikvah combined section sessions will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sept. 20 or 6-8 p.m. Sept. 22, and the Rishon Section worker training sessions will Robert Evans be 9:30-11:30 a.m. Oct. 22 or c' 6-8 p.m. Oct. 25.
