Add sugar mixture and stir
until smooth. Cool to room
temperature. Beat egg whites
until soft peaks form and fold
into chocolate mixture, then '-
fold into whipped topping.
Spoon into custard cups and c
sprinkle lightly with toasted
almonds. Chill several hours
before serving.
Note: Whipped cream may
be used instead of whipped''
topping but calories are in-
creased considerably.

CHAMPAGNE PEACH
SORBET
1 bottle champagne
(about 1 liter)
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons lemon
juice
5 peaches, stones
removed and cut in
wedges
Pour champagne, sugar '
and lemon juice into saucepan
and stir to dissolve. Add k,
peaches, cover and bring to
simmer. Poach for 8 minutes. cj
With slotted spoon, remove
peaches from liquid and puree
in food processor. Add to
champagne mixture. Cool.
Pour into icecream freezer
and freeze according to man-
ufacturer's direction. ❑

Emanu-El Nursery
Starts Fall Term

Temple Emanu El Nursery
School will start its new year
Sept. 9 with regular nursery
school classes, a pre-
kindergarten, parent-toddler
class, and Two's Only — On
My Own class.
Enrollment is limited to
children age 2 to 6 years. 'n
Both half and full-day
schedules are available.
In addition to regular pro-
gramming, the children will
benefit from a comprehensive H
creative movement and music
curriculum. Specialists in
these areas will visit with the
children on a weekly basis.
A new oral Hebrew pro-
gram will be introduced.
Teachers will present Hebrew
vocabulary, songs, games, fin-
gerplays and felt-board
activities.
Enrichment gymnastics (-=
will again be offered. A new
gymnastics organization will -
present the program.
The Two's Only class is
limited to children age 2-2 1/2 c
years. Extended care is of-
fered both before and after
nursery school.
