The Great Lakes
Yacht Club
has rejuvenated
its junior program
this summer.

etroit's mostly
Jewish boating club,
the Great Lakes Yacht
Club on Lake St. Clair,
has worked hard this
season to revitalize its
junior sailing program.
Under the direction of
member Julee Roth, more
than 60 youngsters have
learned how to sail and
participated in racing
programs.
Some of the better
competitors have included
Benji Salter in Optimists
and Jared Gell in Lasers.
The club is a center for
recreational power
boating and sail boating,
and participates in weekly
regattas for adults and
youngsters.
