School auditorium. The
Thursday evening perfor-
mance is open to 1,000
senior citzens from local
community groups, while
the Saturday and Sunday
evening shows are open to
the public. "We pick up
senior citizens from
Trowbridge, Jewish Home
for Aged, Flesichman
Residence and other homes,"
explains associate producer
Lynda Glasser. The coun-
try club underwrites the cost
for the transportation of the
seniors. "They are our big-
gest fans," adds Ms. Glasser.
The Tam O'Shanter reper-
tory theatre company has
been rehearsing since June.
"All the members are pro-
fessionals in the commun-
ity," says Ms. Glasser.

Art in the Park
Birmingham Art in the
Park will take place 10 a.m.-6
p.m. Sept. 12 and 10 a.m.-5
p.m. Sept. 13 at Shain Park in
downtown Birmingham.
One hundred fifty-five ar-
tists will be represented.
Money raised will go to Com-
mon Ground, Oakland Coun-
ty's 24-hour crisis interven-
tion agency.
