Lawrence S. Jackier has
been named chairman of the
Holocaust Memorial Center's
Eighth Anniversary Dinner
to be held Nov. 8 at the
Westin Hotel in Detroit.
Mr. Jackier is an attorney
and partner in the law firm of
Silver, Gould, Eizelman,
Zoller, Upfal, Bean, and
Jackier in Bloomfield Hills.
Mr. Jackier serves as presi-
dent and trustee of the
Theodore and Mina Bargman
Foundation; secretary,
treasurer, and trustee of the
Louis G. Blumberg Founda-
tion; and president, treasurer,
and trustee of the Stanley 'm-
erman Memorial Foundation.
A member of the board of
the Holocaust Memorial
Center, Mr. Jackier also sup-
ports the Jewish Welfare
Federation of Detroit, Na-
tional Conference on Soviet
Jewry, Israel Institute of
Technology (Technion), and
Bar-Ilan University.
This year's dinner will
honor survivors who were
children during the
Holocaust and who survived
