k '50 Israel Horizons, accept a paid ad from JCOME. Mr. Bruzonsky has also alienated organizations like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Or- ganizations, even his former employer, the World Jewish Congress. "Most American Jews be- lieve what they've been told by Jewish institutional lead- ers for the last 50 years," Mr. Bruzonsky said. "But they have failed to tell their read- ers and members what is re- ally going on." Elan Steinberg, executive director of the World Jewish Congress, said JCOME has no credibility. He said Mr. Bruzonsky worked for the WJCongress as a part-time consultant, arranging meet- ings in Washington. Mr. Bruzonsky, who holds a master's degree in interna- tional affairs from Princeton University and a law degree from New York University, says he worked for the World Jewish Congress from 1976 to 1983 under former directors Nahum Goldmann and Philip Klutznick. As a representative, Mr. Bruzonsky says he traveled to the former Soviet Union, Arab countries and Israel, setting up dialogues between World Jewish Congress and members of these govern- ments. "The irony is that through these trips I became aware of how the Palestinians were be- ing treated," Mr. Bruzonsky said. His visits to Israeli ad- ministered territories, he says, convinced him of the need to speak publicly about Israel's policies toward the Palestinians. In November 1985, Mr. Bruzonsky had dinner with Yassir Arafat and other lead- ers of the Palestine Liberation Organization, at Kubba Palace in Cairo. In 1977, Mr. Bruzonsky met with former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat to arrange for the first telegram ever sent from the Arab world to Israel. "The reality is that a huge number of Palestinian women and children are killed by Jewish terrorists in far greater proportion than Jews have been killed by Pales- tinians," Mr. Bruzonsky said. Mr. Bruzonsky married a Palestinian woman in August 1988. Before they were mar- ried, the couple lived secretly in Washington, D.C., not telling anyone of their in- volvement. They divorced about a year ago. "I don't know the evolution 21s4P1 A , . . t 7 HERE'S $50 TO PULL THE PLUG ON YOUR OLD CEILING FAN* When it's your decision to choose a nursing care residence...
