Visitors can obtain a computer print- out highlighting the history of every European Jewish community 500 Jewish families or larger in size. The information provided on each community can in- clude when the community was first established; highlights of its history and the lives of its prominent figures; the community's welfare, social, educational, and religious structure; how many Jews lived there through the years and what their occupations were; the restrictions and anti-Jewish legislation they labored under; the number and types of synagogues they supported; and their fate in the Holocaust.
