will honor Esther Goldenberg
and the memory of her hus-
band Norman at a Communi-
ty Service Award Luncheon
noon Aug. 30 at Temple Kol
Ami.
Norman graduated from
the University of Detroit Col-
lege of Engineering and was
a member of Gamma Epsilon
Pi fraternity. He worked at
his profession until he retired
in 1989. He was a member of
the Craftsman Lodge of the
Masonic Order and was presi-
dent of the Kadima Social
Club.
Esther attended City Col-
lege, which is now Wayne
State University. She is a
founding member of the Nu
Chapter of Iota Alpha Pi
Sorority. She is a member of
the Women of Wayne Alumni

Prime Minister's Conference
in Jerusalem in 1968. He
planned the first Rabbinical
Conference in 1970 in
Jerusalem. He is a founder of
ARZA, the Reform Zionist
organization and wrote its
Statement of Principles. He
founded the Chicago Board of
