A benefit for the Chabad's
Children of Chernobyl was
held recently at the home of

Leo and Libby Sklar.'

Chernobyl was the site of a
nuclear disaster in 1986. A
rescue mission was initiated
almost two years ago at the
request of parents. Today,
618 children have been
brought to Kfar Chabad in
Israel to receive medical
treatment and evaluation.
Many have been joined with
their parents.
Jay Litvin, national coor-
dinator for the Children of
Chernobyl, and Asaf
Durakovic were the guest
speakers at the event. Some
of the supporters included:
