the fall Chazak mission will
:ake place 7:30 p.m. Aug. 5 in
the home of David R. Victor.
The meeting will acquaint
young adults with highlights
of the mission, which will
take place Oct. 21-Nov. 1. The
trip will include visits to Riga
and Moscow in the former
Soviet Union, and a full
schedule of tours, visits with
new immigrants and meet-
ings with government of-
ficials in Israel.
Men and women age 25-45
are eligible. Cost of the mis-
sion is $2,100 with a
minimum pledge of $800 to
the 1993 Allied Jewish Cam-
paign. It includes roung-trip
air fare from New York,
deluxe accommodations (dou-
: hie occupancy), transporta-
tion, guides, gratuities and
most meals. An Israel-only
9 option also is available.
Mr. Victor and Stacey A.
Crane are the local mission
chairmen. Lynn Sachse is the
regional chairman.
Mission co-sponsors are the
United Jewish Appeal and
Jewish Federation of Metro-
politan Detroit.
