Don't forget to use salsa or refried beans as a base sauce for Mexican pizzas. Pineapple and green peppers can easily create a Polynesian version with a sweet and sour sauce. Plum sauce can be used as a Chinese base with a number of stir-fry choices. Ratatouille makes a wonderful pizza with or without cheese. Think pizza, and use your imagination next time there are any leftovers in the refrigerator. 0 Ilene Spector is a Baltimore food writer
