Hadassah Exhibits
Arie Painting

Artist Dubi Arie's painting
The Mission: Under the Wing
of God and the Shadow of
Amalek was showcased at
the Hadassah Women's
Organization's National Con-
vention in Washington, D.C.,
June 12-15 at the Washington
Hilton.
The Hadassah exhibition
was significant in that the ar-
tist was adopted and spon-
sored by that organization
following the Holocaust. Mr.
Arie, who had escaped Poland
along with his mother and
brother, was eventually re-
settled in Israel on Kibbutz
Shaar Hagolan.
The painting, 20 years in
the making, commemorates
4,000 years of history of the
Jewish people. Comprehen-
sive in scope and content, this
creation is striking in its use
of vivid colors and symbolic
allusion.
The Mission is represented
by the Art Judaica Educa-
tional Foundation.
