Dr. Erica Ellen Heit,
daughter of Paul and Sylvia
Heit of Lantana, Fla., and Dr.
Erick Marc Remer, son of Earl
and Jackie Remer, were
recently married at Temple
Beth El. Rabbi Richard C.
Hertz officiated.
Dr. Rochelle Heit, sister of
the bride, was the matron of
honor. Bridesmaids were
Michelle Davis, Dr. Dana
Rubin-Remer, Cathy Deutsch
and Elise Citarella. Dr.
Steven Remer, brother of the
groom, was the best man. Ser-
ving as groomsmen were Dr.
Mark Heit, Howard Davis, Dr.
Robert Weinfeld and Dr.
David Cohen.
Also participating were the
bride's grandmother, Libby
Heit, and the groom's grand--
mother, Clara Green.
Dr. Erica Remer received
her medical degree from
SUNY Buffalo Medical
School in New York and is
now an emergency depart-
ment physician at Mercy -
Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Erick
Remer earned both bachelor
and medical degrees from the
University of Michigan. He is
completing his radiology
residency training at North-
western University Hospital
and next year will participate
in a radiology imaging fellow'
ship (M.R.I. and CAT scan) at
the University of Michigan
Hospital.

Terry Mark LaBan and
Patricia Robin Rich were
married recently at Highlawn
Pavilion in West Orange, N.J.
Terry is the son of Dr. and
Mrs. Myron LaBan of Bloom-
field Hills, and Patricia is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert Rich of North Cald-
well, N.J.
Craig LaBan, brother of the
groom, was best man; Jen-
nifer Jurcik, sister of the
bride, was matron of honor.
Amy LaBan, sister of the
groom, was also in the wed-
ding party.
Mr. LaBan earned his
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
at the University of
Michigan. He is a freelance_
artist doing political cartoons
and illustrations for the
Chicago Tribune as well as
publishing his own comic
book series through Fan
tagraphics Press.
Ms. Rich is a summa cum
laude graduate of the Univer-
sity of Michigan where she :-:
was elected to Phi Beta Kap-
pa. She received her master's
degree in social work from the I
University of Chicago. She is
employed as a bilingual fami-
ly therapist in Chicago, where
the couple permanently
reside.
