Exhibits Masters
Five decades of creativity by
' the 20th century's four impor-
tant masters will be the focus
of a Park West Gallery exhibi-
tion and sale through Aug. 11.
"20th Century Masters"
will feature more than 60
works by Pablo Picasso, Marc
Chagall, Joan Miro and
Salvador Dali. The collection
includes: large-scale color
lithographs and rare biblical
1 subjects by Chagall, several
major aquatints, lithographs
and a gouache painting by
, (7-Miro, an early pencil drawing
and a collection of wood
engravings from the 1960s by
Dali and a range of works by
Picasso, from a set of dry-
• points in an edition of only
' 11, to the monumental
, linoleum-cuts of the last years
of his life.
Park West Gallery has
created a fully-illustrated
catalogue for the "20th Cen-
tury Masters" show; the
, catalogue is complimentary.

Native West Hosts
Jewelry, Rug Show
Native West in Plymouth
will host silver trader Bing
Crosby 10 a.m.-8 p.m. July 17
and 18; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. July
19. He will bring an assort-
ment of Navajo, Hopi, Zuni
and Santo Domingan jewelry.
In addition, Native West
will present Tom Wheeler,
;L . fourth generation owner of
Hogback Trading Post (est.
1871) in Waterflow, N.M. He
will bring a selection of Nava-
,- jo rugs and will be available
to share his knowledge of the
art.
In the tradition of previous
shows, Native West has in-
vited an American Indian ar-
tist to give demonstrations
throughout the show. Navajo
rug weaver Sarah Natani will
demonstrate her expertise

throughout the weekend.
