Concert In Park
Set For July 12
The Workmen's Circle and
the Sholem Aleichem In-
stitute will present the 14th
annual Yiddish Concert in
the Park 7 p.m. July 12 at
Shepherd Park, Oak Park.
The featured artist will be
Rosalie Gerut, soloist, com-
poser and cantor. She compos
ed the music and starred in
the Joseph Papp Yiddish
Theater production of Songs
of Paradise. Ms. Gerut is can-
tor at temples in Concord and
Lexington, Mass.
The concert is free. In case
of rain, the concert will take
place in Oak Park
School.

Friends will perform in a
Kaleidoscope concert 8 p.m.
