Bash, Canoe Trip

The Jewish Community
Center will host a Backyard
Bar-B-Q Bash 7 p.m.-mid-
night July 8. The event is
sponsored by the Singles and
Health Club departments.
Admission will include a bar-
b-q dinner, door prizes, music
by Eric Harris, and dancing.
There will be a cash bar.
Tickets may be purchased in
advance or the evening of the
bash.
The JCC Singles will join
the Ann Arbor Singles for a
canoe trip down the Huron
River 10:30 a.m. July 12. The
group will meet at Skips
Canoe Livery at Delhi Park.
Carpools will meet in the
front lobby of Maple-Drake
Building at 9 a.m. Bring a
picnic lunch and something to
share with the group. Reser-
vations and deposits are due
by July 10; call 971-0970. For
carpool reservations by July

AJC Programs
Set For Singles

The American Jewish Com-
mittee, Detroit Chapter will
sponsor a programming
series titled Odyssey which
will address issues of interest
to the over-30 single in the
Jewish community.
The chapter will continue
its singles forum by hosting
special guest Jeffrey Zaslow
7:30 p.m. July 16 at the Max
M. Fisher Building, 6735
Telegraph Road, Bloomfield
Hills.
