Families and individuals from Grosse Pointe to Hun- tington Woods and from Bloomfield Hills to Oak Park are hosting meetings in preparation for the proposed July 12 groundbreaking for the pool and other amenities to be added to the Oak Park building. Anticipating the revitaliza- tion of the building, many members of the Jewish com- munity are encouraging their friends to be part of this cam- paign to enhance the JPM. The proposed ground- breaking will be part of "The Center of Things," a free, family fun day, 1:30-4:30 p.m. L, July 12 at the JPM and Char- lotte M. Rothstein Park.
