Two California women who
met in a creative writing
class 12 years ago will appear
10:30 a.m. July 14 at Book-
people, Orchard Lake Road,
West Bloomfield, to meet
fans, do readings and sign
copies of their books. The two
are Judith Ross Enderle,
formerly of Farmington, and
Stephanie Gordon Tessler of
Los Angeles.
The pair have both publish-
ed individually, 37 books by
Ms. Enderle and 24 books by
Ms. Tessler for pre-school age
children to young adults.
Ms. Enderle and Ms. Tessler
are the founders of Writers
Ink, a writer's workshop,
critique and editing service
headquartered in Los
Angeles. Both women are in-
volved in the Southern

tions devoted to the better-
ment of children's literature.
