tion Control Act, that fur-
ther erodes the Roe vs. Wade
decision that legalized abor-
tion.

Act, which would codify Roe.

the Supreme Court decision,

Jewish Republicans
Are Disgruntled

Enough is enough.
So says Ruth King, direc-
tor of the new Jewish Elec-
tion Committee.
The longtime Republican
activist says she has had just
about enough of President
George Bush. Now she
wonders how many Jewish
Americans will follow her
lead.
Ms. King, of New York, is
working full time promoting
the Jewish Election Com-
mittee, which she describes
as a 20-plus member group
of "disgruntled friends of
Israel who did support Mr.
Bush in 1988."
So far, no Detroiters have
officially joined the group.

voters to support," Ms. King
