Joel Shere was elected to a first one-year term as presi- dent of JARC, a Jewish association for residential care for persons with developmental disabilities, at the organization's annual meeting. Elected with President Shere were vice presidents, I. William Cohen, Arthur Hor- witz and Barbara Nusbaum; secretary Nancy Grosfeld; and treasurer Eugene Mondry. Directors elected for a se- cond three-year term were H. John Jacob, Daniel Medow _ and Alan Stuart Schwartz: Elected for a first three-year term were Ron Elkus, Nancy Grand, Joel Eric Jacob, Carol Kaczander, Ellen Labes, Beverly Laker, Hannah Moss, Donna Pearlman, Rabbi Ar- nie Sleutelberg and Patricia Stamler.
