Habatat/Shaw Gallery will
exhibit the work of Thom
Bohnert through July 18. An
• opening reception to meet the
artist will be held 8 p.m. June
`'=' 20.
Thom Bohnert will exhibit
• both sculpture and drawings.
Thom's work grows out of a
search for wholeness and
• meaning. His primary in-
terest is form as it is deter-
-,--mined by line rather than
solid volume. The vessel is the
• basis for his exploration of the
way in which space can be ex-
perienced, perceived, and
interpreted.
His clay and • wire
sculptures, address issues of
line, color, volume, proportion
and texture. His drawings do
as well. Through drawing, Mr.
Bohnert finds new ways of
seeing, a fresh sense of order,
and continuing inspiration.
Habatat/Shaw Gallery also
will exhibit the work of
Adriana Baler and Diane
Dawes. Both women are re-
- cent MFA recipients from the
University of Miami.
Habatat/Shaw Gallery
hours are Tuesday-Saturday
10 a.m.-6 p.m., through June
30. Beginning July 1, sum-
mer gallery hours are Wed-
nesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-6
p.m. For information, call Jeff
)Guido, 851-8767.
