State Convention
The Department of
- Michigan and . Ladies Aux-
iliary Jewish War Veterans
• will hold their 51st annual
state convention June 26-28.
An Oneg Shabbat service
will be held 7:30 p.m. June 26
at the JWV Memorial Home.
Q. Twenty scholarships will be
presented; guests will be
acknowledged; refreshments
will be served.
Services will be held 9 a.m.
June 27 at Congregation
Beth Achim in Southfield. At
, 2 p.m. there will be a

• Benefits Seminar conducted
by PDC Irving Keller, na-
tional service officer, at the
Days Hotel, 9 Mile Rd. At
6:30. p.m. a banquet will be
held at the Days Hotel honor-
' ing Jack Schwartz and Presi-
dent Martha Hauptman.
There will be dancing.
Registration will begin 9:30
a.m. June 28. Memorial ser-
vices for departed members
will begin at 10:30 a.m. The
° business meeting will begin
at noon including resolutions,
' credentials, awards, election
of new officers and installa-
tion. Convention chairmen
