He was chairman of the Republican Party 15th Congressional District and '-elegate to several Republi- can conventions. He was a judge for the _ Detroit Common Pleas Court from 1967-1973, a Wayne County Circuit Court judge from 1973-1986, and a visiting Judge for Wayne County and Scottsdale, Ariz., upon his retirement in 1986. Judge Burdick was a member of Jewish War Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and B'nai B'rith. He leaves his wife, Jean- nette; daughters and sons-in- law, Alice and Dr. Bruce Schweiger of Ann Arbor, Lin- da and Martin Margulies of Northville and Laura Sher- man of Santa Monica, Calif., sister, Shirley Greenberg of Oak Park; four grand- children. Ira Falk, Physician Dr. Ira Falk, of Southfield, died June 16. He was 86. Dr. Falk had been in private medical practice for 52 years. He was a graduate of Univer- sity of Michigan undergraduate and medical schools. He was on the staff of Detroit Memorial Hospital, as well as Grace Hospital. He was an alumnus of the Founders Society at Detroit Institute of Arts and a member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek and its Seniors Club. Meyer Robinson, Philanthropist New York (JTA) — Philan- thropist Meyer H. Robinson, co- founder of the company that made Manischewitz wines, died of congestive heart failure here on June 12. He was 86 years old. Beginning his career as a lawyer for the Monarch Wine Company, Mr. Robin- son became a partner when his brother, a founding part- ner, died in 1935. He also served as secretary- treasurer and chairman of the company. Later he was elected president of the in- dustry's National Wine Association.
