he worked as the manager
of El Torrito restaurant in
Southfield for almost two
years in order to save money
to attend graduate school.
In 1991, he entered Wayne
State University and receiv-
ed his teaching certificate in
1992. He completed his stu-
dent teaching in EnglisU,
and Spanish at Bloomfield
Hills Andover High School
under the supervision of Dr.
Gerald Sima and Judy
Gelman.
