en Mazin of Louisville, Ky.;
four grandchildren.

Harry Thurswell,
Longtime Attorney

Harry L. Thurswell, of West
Bloomfield, died June 4. He
was 84.
Mr. Thurswell graduated
from Wayne State University
Law School in 1930, specializ-
ing in collection law. He then
worked with his son, Gerald,
in the firm of Thurswell,
Chayet and Weiner until
1973, when he retired. He
was a member of the Ameri-
can Arbitration Association,
the Furniture Club and Con-
gregation Beth Abraham Hil-
lel Moses.
He leaves his daughters and
sons-in-law, Delores and Sid-
ney Goldman of West Palm
Beach, Fla., Diane and Ber-
nard Rapaport of Orchard
Lake; son and daughter-in-
law, Gerald and Judi of
Bloomfield Hills; seven
grandchildren.

BENJAMIN STORCH, 85,

of Detroit, died June 4. He
le4ves a son, Seymour, of
Detroit; daughter and son-in-
w, Iris and Leon Leeds of
Studio City, Calif.; brother
aid sister-in-law, Harry and
June of Los Angeles; two
grandchildren; three great-
andchildren.

ZUSIS, 71, of South-
field, died June 8. She is sur-

Regene Cohane,
Lawyer, Volunteer

Regene Freund Cohane, of
Southfield, died June 5. She
was 92.
She practiced law for 72
years. A graduate of Cornell
University Law School in
1920, Mrs. Cohane was co-
founder and first national
president of Sigma Delta Tau
Sorority (1918-1922). She was
a past president of Women
Lawyers of Michigan, a
member of the Cornell Club
of Michigan and the National
Council of Jewish Women.
She received the Hannah G.
Solomon Award in 1973 from
the NCJW. She held office
with the YWCA of Highland
Park, was a past president of
Inter-Group Council of
Detroit, of Detroit Federation
of Women's Clubs and was
chosen as one of Detroit's
Women of Achievement.
She leaves her brother,
Philip of New York; nephew,
Gordon of Lakeport, Calif. In-
terment New York.

Lillian Tulupman,
Active In Groups

Lillian Tulupman, of South-
field, died June 6. She was 90.
She was the past president
of the Women's Auxiliary of
Jewish War Veterans and a
charter member of Adat
Shalom Synagogue and its
sisterhood.
She leaves her son and
daughter-in-law, Ted and Kay
of Bloomfield Hills; daughter
and son-in-law, Esther and
Gerald Rosenthal of West
Bloomfield; five grand-
children; two great-grand-
daughters.
