Adam Greenbaum displays his project.

A

kiva Hebrew Day
School held their se-
cond annual Torah
Fair on June 1-2 for students
and parents, with participa-
tion from grades K-6.
"We have had excellent
response," said Rabbi Zev
Shimansky. He explained
that each grade had a theme
project for the fair. The
kindergartners displayed
the Ten Commandments,
while the first graders ex-
hibited the creation of the
world.
The first-grade students in
the class of Leah 'liar and
Denise Levy were excited
about their projects. Adam
Greenbaum drew the four-
th day of creation with the
sun, moon and stars. "My
mom helped me," he con-
fessed. Michael Feldman
and Malka Stawis had a
Shabbat project. Some of the

other participants included:
Oranit Arusi, Aviva
Burstyn, Max Halpern, -
Elizabeth Miller, Evan . 0
Pieczenik, Aron Sandler,
Nathan Stiennon, Avi -
Tennenberg and Dena
White.
Yaakov Englander's pro-
ject was the earth on a metal ' 4
stand with half of the globe,
darkened for night. "I did it
all myself," he boasted.
Then he added, "Well, my
mom helped me think of the
project."
