FIVE RESTAURANTS in
Royal Oak will donate a por-
tion of their proceeds to Varie-
ty, the Children's Charity,
when it sponsors a varied
evening in that sector this
Tuesday to benefit Children's
Hospital.
Peking House, Kyla's, La
Fondue, Metro Musicafe and
Oxford Inn will give a percen-
tage of sales from 5 p.m. to
8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Highlight of the evening
will be a big performance at
Mark Ridley's Comedy Cas-

ZETA BETA TAU social
fraternity's charter has been
accepted by the Interfraterni-
ty Council of Michigan State
University . . . ZBT had been
on campus from 1948 to 1973,
but departed when three frat
brothers were seriously in-
_, jured during a hazing incl-
.- dent . . . In 1988 it became
the first national fraternity to
do away with pledging .. .
Last year, a group of students,
led by Hal Widlansky, re-
started an MSU colony of ZBT
. . . In just over a year, there
are 45 initiated brothers in
what is now a fully-chartered
fraternity . . . Marc Lampcov
is president.

At Andiamo, legendary chef
Aldo Ottoviani and head chef
Jeffrey Kay prepared the
evening meal that also in-
cluded five wines, Pinot
Gregio Puatti, Barolo Zon-
chetta, Giagrone Chardon-
nay, Barbaresco Gaja and
Quintarelli Amarone . . . The
wines and foods were all from
various regions of Italy.

until somebody wised her up

other gal said. "He doesn't
