now a partner in a Washing-
ton, D.C., law firm and af-
filiated with the Michigan
firm of Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer and
Weiss, will serve as the key-
note speaker at the Ameri-
can-Israel Chamber of Com-
merce's annual Israel Trade
Award dinner June 10 at the
Hyatt Regency Hotel,
Dearborn.
Gov. Blanchard will address
the issue of how to sustain
and expand international
business in light of the reces-
sion and the opportunities for
---' Michigan and Israel to profit
from joint ventures with the
EEC and Eastern Europe as
seen from the perspective of
his new professional life.
Shlomo Harel, head of the

America, will present the
Israel Trade Awards to the
1992 recipients: Joel H. Sha-
