medium heat until mixture
comes to a boil and thickens.
Stir and simmer 1 minute.
Pour into 8-inch square glass
baking dish or 2-quart baking
dish. Place in oven to keep
warm while preparing biscuit
topping.
3. For biscuit topping, com-
bine flour, sugar, baking
powder and salt. Cut in
shortening until coarse
crumbs form. Combine egg,
milk and vanilla. Add all at
once to flour mixture. Stir just
until moistened. Remove bak-
ing dish from oven.
4. Drop biscuit mixture in
8 mounds on top of hot fruit.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until
golden brown. Serve warm
with cream or ice cream, if
desired. 8 servings.

Prick squash skin in several
places with fork; place cut-
side down in 2-quart oblong
baking dish. Drain pineapple,
reserving i/2 cup juice. Pour
reserved juice over squash.
Bake, uncovered, at 350F for
30 minutes.
Meanwhile in small
saucepan, heat margarine,
brown sugar and mustard un-
til melted and smooth.
Remove squash from oven;
turn squash halves over. Mix
pineapple and raisins; spoon
mixture into each squash
half. Drizzle brown sugar
mixture over squash. Bake 30
to 40 minutes more or until
squash is tender. Sprinkle
with pecans during last 5
minutes of baking.

mg total fat (29 percent
