Galleries Hold
First Thursday
The North Woodward
galleries in downtown Birm-
ingham will continue to pro-
vide extended gallery hours
through 8:30 p.m. the first
Thursday of the month, June
4.
The gallery district will
host six new art exhibitions to
complement the participating
galleries with the Frank
- Gehry Collection from Knoll
and the Milano Torino Collec-
tion from Artemide on display
at Architectura Insitu and a
new photography exhibition
opening at the Halsted
Gallery.
The Lemberg Gallery will
introduce a new print collec-
tion and Allen Berke's pain-
tings will be at the Xochipilli
- Gallery. The Yaw Gallery will
display sterling silver jewelry
by Ulla Hornfeldt and the
Elizabeth Stone Gallery will
have a book signing by Wil
Clay and Jan Wahl surroun-
ding the Myth, Magic and
Merriment exhibition.
Mole Hole
Opens Art Fair
The Mole Hole of Birm-
ingham will open an ongoing
Art Fair Gallery featuring
local artists. Juried artists'
works of pottery, jewelry,
blown glass, paintings of
various media, and woven
baskets will be for sale.
The Mole Hole hours are
Mon.-Wed. 10 a.m.-6 p.m.;
Thurs, Fri, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.;
Sat. 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sun. 12-5
p.m. The Mole Hole is at 128

annual Rabbinical Luncheon,
"How Kadima Can Benefit

June 11 at its offices.
