Temple Beth El will host a
Tikun Leil Shavuot, the sym-
bolic reenacting of the giving
of the Torah 9:30 p.m. June 6
at the temple.
The evening will begin with
a chavurah-style service and
will continue with an adult
study session until midnight.
The service and study session
will be led by Rabbi Barry
Diamond and Ira Wise.

Beth Achim Has
Shavuot Event

On June 6, Congregation
Beth Achim will hold its an-
nual Shavuot study session.
Rabbi Martin Berman will
present "Ruth — The Forgot-
ten Megillah." The program
will include Minchah at 7
p.m., whitefish dinner, the
study session, Maariv, Hav-
dallah and Kiddush and
dessert.
Tickets are available at the
synagogue.
