Elects New Officers

Isadore Malin will be in-
stalled as the 59th president
of Temple Beth El Brother-
hood at its annual installa-
tion dinner 6 p.m. June 2 at
the temple.
A member of the temple for
more than 40 years, Mr.
Malin has been co-chairman
and organizer of the first
Purim Carnival, chair of the
first temple picnics and,
together with his wife Fran,
among the first couples to
organize the Temple's Mar-
ried Group.
He has served as chair of
the Brotherhood Breakfasts
and of their annual Sports
Night and continues to serve
as a member of the Temple's
Usher Corps. Immediate past
president of the Beth Elders,
Mr. Malin is also a past presi-
dent of the Middle Years
Group and engraves the
prayer books for the Brother-
hood and the congregation.
Other officers being install-
ed are Barry Lepler, Gerald
Cole, vice presidents;
Lawrence Warren, Arnold
Garvin, treasurers; Dr. Roy
Goodman, Byron Siegel,
secretaries.
Board members to be in-
stalled for a one-year term in-
clude Sherwin Birnkrant, Dr.
Joseph Berke, Martin Dar-
vick, Lawrence Epstein,
Steven Fish, Paul Halpern,
Sanford Eichenhorn has
been elected president of Adat
Shalom Synagogue. New
synagogue officers and incom-
ing members of the board of
trustees will be installed at a
special Shabbat service 7:30
p.m. May 29.
Mr. Eichenhorn has been a
lay leader in the Conservative
movement for many years
and has been active in,Jewish
causes since serving on the
State of Arizona Anti-
Defamation League Board 30
years ago. He was presi-
dent of the Michigan Region
of United Synagogue of
Conservative Judaism from
1986 to 1990 and is a national
vice president of United
Synagogue.
Also elected to the
synagogue's executive com-
mittee for 1992-93 were vice
presidents, Sharon Hart, Jack
Rubin; recording secretary,
Sidney Feldman; and
treasurer, 'Ibrran Leemis. In
addition, Joel Golden, Bever-

members-at-large on the

Elected to the board of
trustees were Mark Kahn,
Elaine Rosenblatt and Larry
Wolfe. Joel Gershenson,

Memorial Park board of
trustees.
