Nearly 3,000 years ago, our people made a
pledge that remains a centerpiece of our faith.
Twenty-five years ago, with the reunification of
the city of Jerusalem, American Jewry made
another promise: to match the courage of her
defenders with a resolve of our own.
We made a decision to stand by Israel and her
people, to support the upbuilding of the Jewish
State and the ingathering of the exiles of every
nation.
We decided then. And we must reaffirm that
decision now.
Your gift to the Allied Jewish Campaign links
you to an age-old promise -- and the fulfillment of
our people's dream.
