Memorial Day Services to
honor and preserve the
memory of fallen Jewish
veterans will be held at two
local cemeteries on May 24.
Religious and military ser-
vices will include a rifle
salute by Department of
Michigan Color Guards at the
Machpelah Cemetery, 21701
Woodward, Ferndale 10:00
a.m. and the Hebrew
Memorial Park Cemetery,
21503 E. 14 Mile Rd., Mt.
Clemens at noon.
Officers who will officiate in
the services are Ely Katz,
Milton Klein, Tom Tannis
and Martha Hauptman. Can-
tor Max Shimansky of Con-
gregation Beth Achim will
perform the cantorial portion
of the services.
