Women's League
Installs Officers

The League of Jewish
Women's Organizations will
hold its annual installation of
officers 12:15 p.m. May 21 at
Congregation Beth Achim.
Installed for a second term
as president will be Charlotte
Edelheit. Mrs. Edelheit has
served previously in the
League as vice president of
community relations, vice
president of public relations
and vice president of youth
awards. She served as presi-
dent of B'nai B'rith Women
Metropolitan Detroit Council,
chairman of the board of the
Michigan Region BBYO and
is a member of the Jewish
Community Council Board of
Directors.
She also is a member of Na-
tional Council of Jewish
Women, Na'amat USA, Sinai
Hospital Guild, Northwest
Child Rescue, Adat Shalom
Sisterhood and a life member
of B'nai B'rith Women Mor-
genthau and Detroit
chapters.
Also being installed as vice
presidents are Hannah Moss,
Pauline Grossman, Evelyn
Noveck, Judith Fox, Carol
Sue Coden and Rose Lynn
Schlussel; treasurer, Rita
Weston; secretaries, Ruth
Yost, Sherrie Stern, Marjorie

Habimah, Israel's National
Theater, was established in
Moscow in 1917, under the
patronage of the great actor,
director and teacher
Stanislaysky. The theater
moved permanently to Tel
Aviv in 1932.
