speak at the annual dinner of
Congregation Bais Chabad of
Farmington Hills 6 p.m. May
17 at the Shomrei Emunah —

Bloomfield.
Rabbi Woolf is a lecturer at
Yale University and scholar
in residence of the Y.M.H.A.
in Riverdale, N.Y. He is cur-
riculum advisor to the Wex-
ner Foundation and the ex-
ecutive vice president of the
Centrist Orthodox Round
Table, which plays a major
role in halachic decisions and
perspectives of the Rabbinical
Council of America.
The dinner will be in
tribute to Rabbi Woolfs late
father-in-law, Jacob Bergs-
tein, and Rabbi Woolf will
focus on Mr. Bergstein's life
and times in Poland.

chemia Dagan, senior educa-
tion officer of the Israel
Defense Forces (IDF) until
1989, will be the keynote
speaker at the annual
meeting of the Agency for
Jewish Education 7:30 p.m.
May 28. The talk, followed by
a period for questions, will be
"How Israel Differs: The Uni-
queness of the IDF."
As senior education officer,
