Beth Elders at Temple Beth
El. He will discuss "Current
Events in Israel."
Dr. Tanter, a former deputy
director of behavioral sciences
at the Advance Research Pro-
jects Agency, Department of
Defense and consultant to the
National Security Council
and to the undersecretary of
defense, also served as senior
advisor on the U.S. delegation
to the United Nations.

Pian Activities

The Jewish Community
Center offers bingo 2 p.m. on

Morris building. Prizes and a

mission charge.
As part of the ongoing Yid-
dish Cultural Festival, the
Readers Theater will presents
a performance at the Jimmy
Prentis Morris building 1
p.m. May 21.
A Hearing Loss Support
Group has been formed at the
JPM. The group, which offers
speech reading techniques as
well as educational, recrea-
tional and social activities,
meets the second and fourth
Friday of each month 10 a.m.-
noon. Marilyn Lewis of the
Michigan Deaf, Hearing and
Speech Center serves as the
group facilitator. Light
refreshments are served.
There is a charge for each ses-

Blood pressure and fast
blood sugar tests are offered

ching, toning and non-impact
aerobics created especially for
those age 55 plus, 11-11:45
a.m.
On Tuesdays, 10:15-11 a.m.,
a special easy action class will
allow participants to work
body and mind with non-
strenuous exercise.
