Thirty-seven watercolors by
French artist Eugene Cam-
bier will be the highlight of
an exhibition at Park West
Gallery.
r ) A master of watercolor, Mr.
, 1' Cambier captures the exact
colors and hues of a balmy
mid-summer day. His scenes,
bathed in Parisian light,
detail the architecture and
animation of an area from the
7' best vantage point. Mr. Cam-

• bier plays colors against one
another, recreating the
reflected tone from medieval
brick work, the patch work of
/ a market scene or the sheen
of the river Seine.
Mr. Cambier works in Paris
•
where he holds a teaching
position as professor of draw-
ing and illustration.
In addition to Mr. Cam-
bier's works, Park West
Gallery will show 1992
`-? winter acquisitions. Among
[ the works featured are nine
hand-signed works by Picasso,
eight hand-signed works by
Miro, four hand-signed works
) by Chagall, nine acrylic pain-
tings and seven watercolors
by Tarkay and six paintings
and seven serigraphs by
-, ,- Wolfson. The exhibition also
' will feature works by Alvar,
Boulanger, Dali, Fanch, Goya,
Jiang, Max, Mouly, Picot,
Rembrandt and Robbe.
