Apartments II.

Apartments Take
New Applications

Interviews are now taking
place for the new 97 apart-
ment units at the Lillian and
Samuel Hechtman Jewish
Federation Apartments II
under construction in West
Bloomfield. Qualified ap-
plicants are called for an in-
terview in the order their
completed applications are
received.
The new building, schedul-
ed to be completed in
September, is for persons who
do not qualify for the federal-
ly subsidized housing at JFA's
other three buildings because
their income is over HUD's
income eligibility guidelines.
The rental rate for Hechtman
II has been set at $675 a
month, excluding utilities. As
at all JFA buildings, there
will be an additional monthly
fee for kosher dinners served
five days a week.
Eligible persons for
Hechtman II must have in-
comes between $25-$35,000 a
year for individuals and
$28,550-$40,000 for couples.
Applications can be requested
by calling 967-4240.
