PROJECT ACHIM IS YOU . . . our united community sewing to effectively focus our
forces to assist in the "kiruv" of the new immigrant families in our midst. Together
with the Jewish Federation and with the ongoing cooperation of Akiva, Beth
Yehudah-Bais Yaakov, the Merkaz, Machon LTorah, NCSY, Yeshiva Gedolah, Young
Israel and our local synagogues, we have dedicated ourselves as a community
to reintroducing the Torah and the ways of our People to those whose Jewish iden-
tity was ripped from them by the Soviet anti-Semites. The number of immigrant
children that we have in our day schools and the interest of so many New American
adults is testimony to the success of our program.
