The Arts Foundation of Michigan, in celebration of the oldest arts award program in the state, will honor three Michigan artists and two patrons of the arts May 5 at the Gem Theatre in Detroit. The 1992 Michigan Arts Awards winners are Ypsilan- ti poet, editor and translator, Clayton Eshleman; Detroit sculptor, Lois Teicher; and Detroit percussionist, Roy Brooks. The Michigan Patron Award will be bestowed upon Mrs. Edith Gilbert of Charlevoix and Dr. Zalman (Tiny) Konikow of Bloomfield Hills.
