Kim Melanie Rosner and
Dr. Stephen Joel Saxe were
married recently at the home
of the brides' parents in Or-
chard Lake.
Kim is the daughter of Ber-
nard and Collette Rosner.
Stephen is the son of Ray-
mond and Vivian Saxe of Ann
Arbor.
The bride is a nutritionist
and private consultant
specializing in gastroin-
testinal disorders. The groom
is finishing a pre-residency
fellowship at the L.F. Mont-
gomery Laboratory of
Ophthalmic Pathology at
Emory University in Atlanta.
The couple will reside in
Southfield.

JFS, Machon
Lamaze Classes

Jewish Family Service and
Machon Torah will introduce
a program called L'Maseltov-
Lamaze Classes beginning
the end of May. The classes
will offer traditional Lamaze
sessions followed by discus-
sions focused on Jewish issues
and preparing for a new baby.
Lamaze classes are design-
ed to prepare the pregnant
woman and her partner for
labor and delivery. Relaxation
and breathing techniques are
taught along with body
mechanics, comfort measures,
birthing options and postpar-
tum care.
Rabbi Avraham Jacobowitz
from Machon L'Torah will
conduct discussions following
the classes on naming the
baby, the bris and the Torah's
view of a new child.
Esther Krystal, clinical
social worker at Jewish Fami-
ly Service, will conduct
discussions about parenting,
early bonding.
The six-week session will
take place at Jewish Family
Service, 24123 Greenfield Rd.,
Southfield. There is a fee. For
