Temple Sisterhoods
Plan Convention

Woman of the 90s" will be the
National Federation of Tem-
ple Sisterhoods District 11
theme for its Biennial Con-
vention in Grand Rapids May
1-3. The women of Temple
Emanuel, Grand Rapids, and
Congregation B'nai Israel,
Muskegon, are co-hosting this
weekend.
The convention's speakers
will be Dolores Wilkenfeld,
immediate past president of
National Federation of Tem-
ple Sisterhoods, Women of
Reform Judaism; and Anne
Cohn Donnelly, executive
director, National Committee
for the Prevention of Child
Abuse.
Dolores Wilkenfeld, key-
note speaker, will address
modern women's concerns
towards sisterhood, Reform
Judaism and modern society.
Anne Donnelly will speak
on child abuse at the Satur-
day luncheon and workshop.
In addition, representatives
will conduct workshops on
subjects including volun-
teerism in the 90s, image
building, elderly abuse and
crimes against women.
The installation of the
1992-1994 NFTS District 11
Executive 'Board will take
place Saturday evening. Rab-
bi Albert Lewis, Temple
Emanuel, will install the
following: president, Carol
Singer, Grand Rapids; vice
presidents, Marlene Good-
man, Farmington Hills; Bar-
bara Pombier, Jackson;
Doreen Millman, West
Bloomfield; Rhina Griffel,
Flint. Also, recording
secretary, Shelly Willner,
West Bloomfield; treasurer,
Lois Gerenraich, Farmington
Hills; corresponding
secretary, Barbara Shapiro,
Grand Rapids; immediate
past president, Parichehr
Yomtoob, Ypsilanti; parlimen-
tarian, Myra Atzenhoffer. Na-
tional board members are
Naida Cohen, South Bend;
Lois Gerenraich, Farmington
Hills; Adrienne Milin, West
Bloomfield and Lillian
Maltzer, Farmington Hills.
