Temple Emanu-El will cele-
brate its 40th anniversary
6 p.m. May 3.
The evening will begin with
Havdalah followed by a din-
ner. After dinner, there will
be music for dancing and
singing and karaoke.
There is a charge which in-
cludes a three percent con-
tribution to Mazon: A Jewish
Response to Hunger.

sent "Aitzim Chayim: Trees
Are Life," in cooperation with
Global ReLeaf, 9 a.m. May 3.
Students in the religious
school will participate in a
giant "Tikkun Olam

Temple Emanu-El will pre-
sent "Mixed Doubles," a
discussion group on the issues
facing intermarried couples
May 6, 13 and 20, 7:30-9:30
p.m. at Temple Emanu-El.
The group will be
moderated by Rabbi Lane Ste-
inger. "Mixed Doubles" is
designed specifically for
couples to attend together.
There is a material fee per
couple, and reservations must
